Trace was an absolute pleasure to work with. So humble and sweet, it broke my heart to think what her family had been through. Her daughter, Laura, suffered a fatal asthma attack and in her memory, Trace is pouring all her energy into highlighting asthma so that young people understand exactly what it is. Her children’s books are available now from her website - I highly recommend them.

Lowri’s triplets are so gorgeous aren’t they! Very much making me broody. They’ve been through a very difficult few months, with Nia and Addien needed plaster casts to set their legs after an operation. But to the rescue – triplet number three, Eleri! The triplets have supported each other through their immobility and are now slowly getting back to their former agility and mischievousness. Lowri’s story appeared in Take A Break and she’s putting her fee towards some much-deserved and longed for bikes for the triplets.

Now that’s what I call a Christmas party! My photographer and I went along to Susan’s Christmas party and it was absolute mayhem. But watching the delight on the kid’s faces as Santa arrived is something I’ll never forget. Susan is an incredible woman – in simply being who she is, she’s helped mums up and down the country cope with and embrace life with a child with Down’s Syndrome. Every year, she organises a get together for families country wide and we were privileged to be a part of this one.
Lily Saved My Life

Jane had suffered from an eating disorder since she was a teenager. It had become a part of her life, she didn’t ever expect to recover. But then, little Lily came along and saved her. Lily belonged to Jane’s best friend and Jane, unable to have children of her own due to the eating disorder, adored her. While babysitting, Jane had to teach Lily how to eat. And it was while teaching Lily that Jane realised she had to set a good example. She had to eat for Lily.
It was wonderful to work with Jane, who I’ve known for a long time. She deserves every happiness as she continues to enjoy her new found health.
